DOE - any contour simultaneously

With a diffractive optical element (DOE), any contours can be created from the laser beam. From spot patterns to complex contour lines to filled surfaces.

The design and production of a single DOE is relatively complex and involves high initial costs. However, then making further copies of the same DOE is no longer a major cost.
A DOE is therefore particularly worthwhile if the same contour must be welded on several welding stations. The design must not change over time, as there is no flexibility for adjustments as with scanners or contour process.
